March 2nd - The delicious hamburgers at the BBQ were heartily eaten by 70 members/guests.
March 4th - Breakfast was enjoyed by 42 members/ guests.
March 4th - Golf Tournament – Twenty-eight golfers received “rosy cheeks” in 80 degree temperatures on Starlite Circle, Sunday. Thank you to Jan Isenberger, our Golf Pro for organizing the Tournament; to Marion Carvell selling refreshments and Harvey Lunn for setting up the Circle; to Bernie VanHorne, Pat Wilson, Penny Goggans for food preparation and Sheila Kerr and Sandra Makasoff for their assistance.
To those who donated prizes for the two tournaments and to all who have attended and supported the Golf-- Thank You.
Winners are: 1st Place- Score 43 Jim Horvath,Sylvia Ray, Art Nelson, Ken Kostiuk. 2nd Place- Score 45 Tie. Two teams had 9 birdies and no bogies. Tie broken by coin toss. Won by team of Don Gabrysh, Joan Pugh, Randy Mercer, and Bill McGill. 3rd Place- awarded to team of Paul DaFoe, Marguerite Moskalyk, Rash Ledger, and Margaret Nelson.4th Place- Score 46 Jay Bender, Mary Puckett, Grant Dixon, and Ann Kostiuk. 5th Place- Score 49 Tie (No bogies) Barry Puckett, Sylvia Horvath, Don Pulver, Jim Wilson. 6th Place- (2 bogies) Al McMahan, Jane McMahan, Harvey Lunn, Betty Gabrysh. 7th Place- Score 50 Wayne Hahn, Gwen Mercer, Frank Pugh, Doris McGill.

March 24th – 50's/60's/70's Sock Hop - We had 88 members and guests with many dressed in the appropriate attire from the eras. They all enjoyed traditional drive-in food hamburgers, fries, coleslaw, ice cream floats and brownies. Fantastic Sock Hop Music and Entertainment and Dance Contests were the highlights for the evening. Twist contest won by Kim and Wade King; Waltz contest won by Terry and Sandy Dudley; Jive contest winners are unknown. If they let the Social Club know we will acknowledge next calendar. Costume Draw was won by Sheila Kerr. Chocolate Bar Bouquet Door prize was won by Sue Meyers. Several draws were made for bottles of wine. 50/50 won by The McMahans. Social Club Draw won by Linden Brown. Thank you to all the committees and volunteers that made this a great success
FUTURE EVENTS
October: The Social Club will not be giving a Halloween Party. Anyone else is welcome to handle this event.
November: A Pot Luck is planned for Thanksgiving. with turkey and dressing prepared by the Social Club.
December: A Craft Fair/Bake Sale the first Saturday of December and our creative members should start thinking now about what they would like to prepare to sell.
An appetizer Pot Luck on December 8th for Christmas.
New Year's Eve: A party to be planned.

We have had another great season. This cannot be accomplished without all the volunteers and those who attend the functions. Thank you to all.
For many that are leaving have a safe journey home and we will see you in the fall.
